ABOUT US
FORMiS is a multi-disciplinary design studio.
We specialise in Design-managing creative projects of
various scales. Our portfolio includes small to large scale retail, residential and commercial environments.
We pride ourselves on achieving design excellence in both the interior and exterior design of our projects. Our Clients include Developers, Private investors and Individuals.
Our design team is currently working on a range of high-density residential projects, high-end commercial and office buildings and various large residential renovations.

THE TEAM
Founded by Kenny Chia and Magdalena Sperska from humble beginnings, FORMiS currently consists of 9 members, with skills levels ranging from junior to ninja.

As founder of FORMiS, Magda is a European Design Expert & Apartment Spatial Design with 22 years experience in NZ and Europe. Magda loves glorious 80s music – but not as you know it.
Kenny Chia

As one of the founders of FORMiS, Kenny has 18 years of experience in Architecture, Design, and Construction. Kenny loves Trance music and the movie “Whiplash”.
Ian McConnell

Ian is a Kiwi/Chilean Gene Mixture with 30+ yrs in Construction, Architectural Design and Civil Structures. He is a Construction Detailing Specialist, Foundation Designer & Coffee Sponge. Ian loves mountain biking- racing sweet single track in the forests of NZ.
Yenlee Loo

Born in Malaysia, Yenlee has 6 years experience in Architecture and 5 years experience as a Graphic Designer. Yenlee loves to “Makan La!”
Simon Capper

Simon is a Kiwi with 12 Years Experience in Architecture and Design in New Zealand. On the weekends Simon plays Badminton.
Angela Feng

Angela is an experienced designer with 5 years experience at FORMiS. Angela has an eye for imagery, and loves to hide easter eggs in her photoshop work.
Adrian Kumar

As a Malaysian Kiwi, Adrian has 6 years experience in Architecture. Adrian loves German Power Metal and rendering grass on the weekends.

As a skilled Accounts Admin, Tatiana takes care of all the “boring work” so the team has more time to design. Tatiana loves photography, and has taken all the photos on this website you are viewing now (except this one). Thanks Tatiana.
Matthew Elcoat

Matt is a talented designer with 3 years experience working at FORMiS. He has recently started making guitars and pedals and enjoys jamming on drums.
